Commercia-13, an inter class competition of Canara College, commenced with the small ray of hope and success. It is the second event of Commerce and Management association for the academic year, held on 17^th and 18^th July 2013.

Commercia-13 was organized for the students of commerce and management. The main motive behind this event was to provide a platform to the students to showcase their talent and give practical exposure to them. A total of 14 teams took part in this event (7 best managers make a team).

Commercia -13 was inaugurated by CA.M. Jagannath Kamath, Chairman of Mangalore Branch of SIRC of ICAI on 17^th July 2013 at 9:00 a.m. The inaugurator in his speech encouraged and motivated participants and briefed them about the importance of such events. The function was presided by our principal Prof. M Satish Bhat. The staff in charge Mrs.Sushma.R.Shetty and Mrs. Smitha.M were also present.

5. Balance sheet analysis
6. Framing H.R recruitment policy
7. Re-launch of a social networking site
8. H.R, P.R and Barter negotiation
9. Mock press
10. Group discussion
11.  Stress interview

Since events required the highest level of skill, the competition was quite intense. Team of 7 best managers started the journey with ice breaker and product launch. Business quiz was the round which divided the team into 2, where 3 participants were moved to venture capital and the remaining 4 were taken to separate rounds. From the team of 4, one participant will enter Battle ground 1 and the other 2 participants will enter Battle ground 2 and the remaining 1 participant will join his team members in venture capital round. After venture capital round the team of 4(3+1) will be divided into 2 separate teams. Team 1 will enter Battle ground 3 and team 2 will enter Battle ground 4.In all the rounds of battle ground, the participants will take part in CEO, HR, FINANCE and PUBLIC RELATION events.

Commercia -13 concluded on 18^th July 2013 at 5:00 PM, by distributing prizes to the winners. The prizes were distributed by the Principal and HOD of commerce.
