Canara First Grade College celebrated its 41st Annual Day on 26/12/2013.
Union day was celebrated in the morning with Sri. CA Rajesh Prabhu, Asst. Finance Controller – Infosys Ltd. as the Chief Guest. During his address he gave a call to the students to set their goals in their student days and work towards reaching their goal through hard work and dedication. Mrs. Mamatha R. Prabhu honored the Prize winners. Sri M. Vaman Kamath presided over the function.
Mr. Abilash Rai, President of Students’ Council welcomed the gathering. Mr. Pavan Kumar Shenoy, Secretary, presented a report of the activities of Students’ Council for the year 2013-14. Mr. Harsh Pawar, Joint Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks.
College Day celebrations was held in the evening with Sri Sudhakar D. Nayak, Asst. General Manager-Vijaya Bank, Bangalore as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Sumathi S. Nayak honored the prize winners. CA S.S. Kamath, President of CHS Association, presided over the function.
Prof. M. Sathish Bhat, presented a report of the activities of the college during 2013-14.
Sri M. Maroor Sudhir Pai, Correspondent of the College, welcomed the gathering. Prof. H. Manohar Shetty, Student Welfare Officer, proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Asha Nayak, Lecturer in English compered. Mr. Vaman Kamath, Asst. Treasurer of CHS association, and other members of the Governing Council were present.
Students exhibited their talents through the variety entertainment programme.
