To acquaint the students with the Tulu culture and to give knowledge to the students about the principles and practices of Tuluvas, Smt. Sai Geetha addressed the students by giving them the clear view of the emergence of Tulu culture in Dakshina Kannada. She told how Tulu culture gained importance among the people. She also gave a brief picture on the usage of Tulu literature among the people of Dakshina Kannada. She also told about the origin of Tulu Literature among people of early age. She gave a detailed information about the practice of “Aliya Santhana” and its origin with the statistics. She gave information about some of the practices of Tuluva community with short stories of olden times. The talk was witnessed by 50 students. Ms. Maya Jt. Secretary of Tulu Sangha gave a brief introduction of Mrs. Sai Geetha and welcomed her and the members. Ratheesh Karkera Secretary of Tulu Sangha proposed the vote of thanks.
