To make students know a regional writer and his contribution to the literature in Kannada and Tulu,a talk was arranged as a tribute to the writer Kayyara Kinhanna Rai on August 10, 2015 in the seminar hall.
Mrs. Rekha Devi K. addressed the students on the occasion and explained how one can contribute to literature even in regional languages as well as mother tounge. Library Committee members, student welfare mentors, Literary Association staff and 120 students were present on the occasion.
The students gathered knowledge on regional writers and their contribution to literature. They also promised to take initiative in writing articles, in their respective mother tongue.
