Kannada Department organized a special programme on ‘ Sahithiyondige Samvaada’ an interactive session with Dr. Nagaveni H, a eminent writer, and Chief Librarian of Humpi University on 13/08/2015 at College Seminar Hall ,in association with Kannada Sangha. Addressing Students she said, “ It is essential to manifest modern changes. However the changes should not disrupt rural substance of India”. She also said “Gender discrimination along with casteism and communalism has created gulf between individuals and it serves as a barrier to good human relationship”
In the interactive session students had discussion with resource person on her “Kappe Sharadeya Mela” a text of II year B.Sc syllabus. Principal Dr. K.V .Malini presided over the function. Ms.Anushalakshmi of I B.Com introduced the resource person and welcomed the gathering. Mr. Mahesh of III B.Com proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Vani U. S HOD of Kannada ,Mrs. Thara Kumari Convener of Kannada sangha , Student secretaries Mr. Ganapathi Bhat of III B.Com and Deeksha K. J of II B.Sc were present.103 students were benefitted from this programme.
Students actively interacted with the writer,they also gained better insight into the prose.
