To clean the surroundings of the beach and create awareness among the tourist to keep the beach area clean,NSS volunteers of our college were participated in International Coastal Clean up (ICC) day in association with Indian coast and on September 19 , 2015.
NSS volunteers removed the debris from the beaches and collected its data to prevent such pollution in future. They also spread awareness campaign to the visitors to use dust bin etc to reduce the waste. The event was supported by MRPL, IOC, HPCL, BASF and Syndicate bank.
Large number of plastic covers and wastage were collected by the students and kept the beach area clean and neat.Total number of 45 students participated in the program.
