Orientation programme to the newly joined N.S.S volunteers of the college was organised on July 15, 2017 with an objective of orienting the students towards NSS. Enlightening the volunteers about the motto, functioning and various activities of National Service Scheme was the main objective of organising orientation. For the year 2017-18, 125 volunteers joined National Service Scheme. The association congratulated the students for their good response. Mr.J.J.Ramprasad, NSS programme officer of SNM Polytechnic Moodabidri was the resource person. He motivated the students by his wise words and congratulated them for choosing NSS. He said through NSS one can develop the personality and group behaviour, simple living and dignity of labour. The NSS officer Mrs.Dejamma administered oath to the students. Mr. Athik Kumar, a senior NSS volunteer spoke on the occasion. He said NSS is an association which gives learning which one cannot experience in the class room.
