The inaugural function of Consumer Forum Association was held on July 20, 2017.
Mr. M J Salian, the chief guest of the function briefed the gathering about consumer forum activities to be carried out in the meetings ahead, adding to which he spoke about the skill set a student must possess in order to overcome hurdles in life as a consumer and how we can protect ourselves through various acts. The audience was made aware of the benefits one would obtain from the certification course on consumer education. In the end of the session he added more arrows in our quiver to fight medical negligence, food adulteration and so on. 23 students participated in the programme.
