Selenium is a popular open source web-based automation tool used for testing purpose. A talk on this topic was arranged for III BCA and B.Sc.(PMC) students on August 05, 2017 at 1.00 P.M. in the computer lab. One of the eminent person Mr. Prathap from IIHT, Bangalore who wrote a book on selenium was the resource person. He explained the use of this software in the industry, how to install it and use it etc. Also they mentioned about the job opportunities in the field.
He was accompanied with Mr. VivekBhat and Mr. Dheeraj from IIHT. They also proposed to have a short term course on Selenium in the college itself with nominal fees.
H.O.D. Mrs. Jayabharathi welcomed the resource persons and the gathering. Mr. Harshith from III BCA proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Rahul Kamath of III BCA captured the photos.50 students took the benefit of this programme.
