An orientation programme was conducted by the department for the I M Com students on August 10, 2017, in the college Seminar hall.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was C A Vaman Kamath, Alternate treasurer, CHS Association, Mangaluru. The Principal of the college, Dr K V Malini presided over the programme. Chief Librarian, Mrs Rekha Devi was also present
Chief Librarian, Mrs Rekha Devi briefed the students about the rules and regulations of the library and also about the Readers’ Club and its activities for the academic year.
The chief Guest, Sri Vaman Kamath, stressed on the importance of developing communication skills which is very essential in every stage of one’s career. He also emphasized the necessity of developing the ability to apply the theoretical aspects in the practical world among the students. 38 students participated in the program.
