Today undergraduate students have a number of career alternatives but the lack of proper guidance create a dilemmatic situation for the young generation which may harm their entire work life which leads to dissatisfied career ahead. To educate the students in this direction CASCMa organised a workshop on “Career Buffet in Commerce” on August 10, 2017. The resource person was Prof. Manoj Louis Ambrose, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Government First Grade College, Kavoor.
The workshop was focused on the career opportunities available to the commerce undergraduates. There were over 60 commerce undergraduate students who were very eager to attend such kind of career counselling from experienced representatives from industry and academics. The workshop intended to guide the audience group, to clear their doubts and to solve their queries so that they would be able to go for better career option.
At the same time Prof. Manoj directed on how the students should enhance their skill in order to meet the requirements for matching skills to current requirements of corporate. The workshop was a successful event as the audience was also participated enthusiastically.
