Commerce and Management association organized an inter class commerce and management meet “Commercia” with a theme “ENTHUSIA-17, ASPIRE TO INSPIRE” to hunt the real talents of management skills on August 21, 2017.
The event ENTHUSIA was inaugurated by Dr. Nayana LM, Assistant Professor of Govt First Grade College, Balmatta by lighting the portrait of a lamp. The guest of honour DrNayana LM had a word of praise for the keen interest of the students in the extra -curricular activities and for their effort to upgrade their knowledge. She also drew the attention of the students by releasing the official trailer of Enthusia-17
The Principal of our college Dr K.V Malini, in her presidential address insisted the students to make use of the platforms like Enthusia to enhance their leadership qualities and congratulated the organizers for inspiring the students to take part in the fest.
Enthusia commenced with enthusiasm and happiness among the students to break free from the daily hustle bustle of classroom lectures, assignments and vivas. ENTHUSIA-17 witnessed 16 registrations from about 128 students from all the streams. We were extremely happy and proud to have students from other streams like BCA and B.Sc as the participants.
16 event heads and 16 event managers from Commerce Association came together to organize this fest with a variety of events such as; Optim ( Best Manager), Innovatio ( Marketing), Finomaniac ( Finance), Ascend ( Human Resource), Protector ( Public Relations), Picturesque ( Photography), Eureka ( Research & Development) and Quizzard ( Quiz), to challenge the students. All these events combined with education and fun, explored professional and personal excellence of our students. These were judged by eminent professors, professionals and by our own alumnus.
Prof. Shanthi Roche, IQAC coordinator of Canara College graced this occasion as a guest of honor for the Valedictory ceremony and gave away the prizes.
The journey of Enthusia-17 of discovering and exploring deep into the sea of commerce, business, administration, entrepreneurship and management where only the best brains can sail across the storms and tides of the real business world complications was a grand success. 180 students participated in the event.
This fest provides an opportunity to the students to explore their hidden talents in the dynamic and competitive corporate world through varieties of events, and explore new ideas among them by testing their skills, knowledge and expertise, as well as their attitude.
