The IT Association conducted Debate competition on September 20, 2017 for the members of the association. This helped to improve their ability to discuss about the advantages and disadvantages of a concept. The topic was “About Social Media”.
The following members were the participants.
Mr.Rithesh , I B.Sc. and Miss. Likhitha II B.Sc. spoke about the benifits of social media in the current senario. Miss. Veekshitha Shetty ,II B.Sc., Miss. P. Shanthadurga KamathI BCA and Miss. Thanvi B.N. I BCA spoke against it.
Sri.Pramod Kumar, Asst. Professor, Department of English was invited as the judge for the competition.Mr.Swasthik H. Shetty gave the introduction about the programme and welcomed the judge and gathering.
Miss. P. Shanthadurga Kamath was the winner.
Miss. Swathi and Miss. Dhanavanthi prepared the score sheet. Miss. Rajashree and Mr.Pashupathi Ramachandra noted the timings for the event. Miss. Khathija Thasreefa gave away the vote of thanks.
Conveners of IT Association Mrs.Jayabharathi K P and Mrs.Prathima Baliga observed the event. 19 IT members participated actively in this event.
