The IT Association arranged a workshop on preparing the documents in Kannada using Nudi software on January 31, 2018 for the members of the association. This workshop created interest among the students to acquire the knowledge on Kannada typing. By providing sufficient information and keyboard layout IT members were made to type small poem stanza of “ Mankuthimmana Kagga” that was including various ways of using Kannada alphabets. Mrs.Jayabharathi K.P. Convener of IT Association was the resource person. Mrs.Prathima Baliga Convener of IT association assisted in practical session. 17 IT members participated actively in this event. Students were able to type in Kannada easily using Nudi and also will be able to type using other softwares if keyboard layout is known.
