To create an interest in science courses, a Basic Science Lab for high school students was conducted at Canara College on August 10, 2018.
Sri Gopalkrishna Shetty, Dean, Physics Department, Canara PU College, Mangaluru, inaugurated the programme. Dr. Premalatha V, Head of the Mathematics Department, presided over the programme. Ms. Keerthi Alva and Ms. Apoorva V K, Conveners of the Science Association, coordinated the programme. About 7 schools, with a strength of 100 students from Mangalore, attended the programme along with their teachers.
