The 72nd Independence Day was celebrated in our college. The Chief Guest Ms. Swathi K, Manager, Canara Bank, Padubidri Brach and an alumnus of our college hoisted the National Flag. Speaking on the occasion she motivated the students quoting the patriotic values of great leaders. .She stated that we should respect our national flag not only by hoisting flag on Independence Day but also in our hearts every day. . The Principal Dr.K.V.Malini in her message to the students spoke on self discipline which will awaken the potential within us and contribute towards development of our country. Harshitha B P, Secretary, students council welcomed the gathering and Harshitha Shetty, Vice President Students Council proposed the vote of thanks. Raksha D Salian of III B.sc compeered the programme.
The Patriotic Group song, Elocution competition, Patriotic song and skit competition on the topic “Unity in Diversity” were held on this occasion and the prizes were distributed.300 students participated in this programme.
