To boost creativity among students learning solid state chemistry, the Department of Chemistry organized a model making activity for first-year BSc students from September 10 to 16, 2018. The models selected were based on the topics from their first semester syllabus. Students in their team prepared models from different items, like balls, straws, binding wires, etc. They prepared models of NaCl, CsCl, TiO2 etc. All the 90 students actively participated in this activity.
