As a human endeavor and concern, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College in association with the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Kasturba Medical College (KMC) organized one-day Free Dental Check-up and Awareness Camp on October 11, 2018 at 9:30 AM in the College Seminar Hall.
A team of dentists from Kasturba Medical College screened the staff members. They also created an awareness by educating the staff members about common dental ailments, tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent them.In addition to it, the staff members were also counseled about how they can maintain optimum dental hygiene.
Principal Dr. K. V. Malini thanked the team of dentists for rendering their moral and selfless service through this initiative.
Through this camp, the staff members got an opportunity to interact with the doctors to enquire and gain knowledge concerning oral diseases. Both teaching and non-teaching staff members sought the benefit of this camp.
