The Department of Commerce organized a Model Bank Project Competition for all final year B.com students on October 13, 2018. The main objective was to enrich the students with academic and technical excellence. Each class was asked to make a model bank of their imagination. Students developed new banking products, such as new types of ATMs, Passbook entry machines, cash depositors, lockers, new types of loans, deposits, etc.
Mrs. Shabari Shetty, Branch Manager, Karnataka Bank, Mangaluru, was the judge of the event.The students of BEM Pre-University College visited and appreciated the students’ effort. III B.Com E & D bagged the first prize, III B.Com C won second and III B.Com A & B shared third prize. A total of 296 students participated in this competition.
