Founder’s day was celebrated in the college on November 19, 2018. On this occasion, the Principal, Dr. K.V. Malini hoisted the flag. In her address, she said “November 19th is a day of remembrance of the convictions and concerns of our founder with which the founder established Educational and Financial Institutions. Education and Bank represents Knowledge and Wealth. The Canara Educational Institutions and Canara Bank are remarkable in their respective fields. The seeds sown by our founder a century ago have grown into huge tree providing shelter to the society in terms of education, employment opportunities and financial support, thus contributing to the welfare, prosperity and progress of the society”. The Principal, the Student Welfare Officers, Staff and Student Council office bearers paid tributes by offering flowers to the bust of the founder.500 students participated in the programme.
