Objective of the activity: This aimed at providing some insights on recent trends of HRD. The main objective of the programme is to make understand the importance of HRD to the BSc students.
Description of the activity: The guest lecture involved the recent trends of HRD such as MBO, Sensitivity analysis, Organizational process, organizational interventions, organizational change and development, reasons for change and resistance for change, steps to overcome the resistance for change, managerial grid, goal setting, team building, job enrichment, participative Management, Quality circles, TQM, Flexi time, Moon lighting, Employee counselling and research in HRD. The students were made aware of HR process and its implications in the organization.
Output of the activity: This guest lecture helped the BSc students to think out from their BSc subjects and also helped to go through the HR process in the organization. The core values of this lecture were the quest for excellence and fostering the global competencies.
