A guest lecture was conducted by the Department of Commerce on the topic ‘Practical application of Banking Theory’ on March 23, 2019. Ms Swathi K. Manager, Canara Bank, Padubidri Branch was invited as resource person, who elucidated the workings of bank. She acquainted our students with various mobile banking applications, use of government built BHIM app, green pin app etc. and stated some precautionary measures while availing banking services such as covering hand while entering password, not disclosing account number, pin, Aadhar number.
She also explained the process of reset and recovery of ATM pin. It was organized to the students of I B.Com. B and I B.Com C. 140 students were participated in the same.
