Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Mangaluru in association with District Administration, South Kanara, The Mangalore City Corporation, Forest Department, Dakshina Kannada District, Mangaluru Smart City Limited, NSS Units, Mangalore University and Bharath Scouts and Guides celebrated World Environment Day 2019 on July 12, 2019 at TMA Pai Convention Centre, Mangaluru.
38 members of Youth Red Cross unit participated in this rally which was followed by award ceremony. Dedicated environmentalist Padmashri Saalumarada Thimmakka, and Sri. Yekagamyaananda Swamiji were felicitated in recognition of their invaluable contributions, in the field of environmental protection and empowerment.
