Department of Economics had an extension activity by involving 10 students from 2nd Year B.COM in participating National Level Seminar at St. Aloysious College on “Banking before and after Nationalization” on July 19, 2019.
In the inaugural key note address, C A Pereira, Former chairman and Managing Director, Bank of Maharashtra, said “In business or banking, Ethics are the most important factor”. Hence, students should focus on following Ethics.
Principal, Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis SJ presided over the program, said that lot of experiment had taken place in the banking sector and that the students have ample opportunities in Banking Sector. Renowned Economist Dr. G. V. Joshi, Dr. Mallikarjunappa, T R Bhat spoke on various aspects of Banking sector.
The conference was organized to commemorate the 50th year of Bank Nationalization.
