Department of Kannada Canara College organized a programme on Sahithya Mattu Vidyarthi on July 20, 2019 at college seminar hall. Prof. Balakrishna Shetty was resource person of the programme. Prof Shetty defined literature as a reflection of one’s life. He advised the students on various aspects and its relation to the literature. He said that in today’s stressful life, comfort peace and satisfaction can be experienced only through love for literature. Reading and knowledge of literature not only helps us to overcome our day to day stress but also makes our life more meaningful. One has to develop a liking for literature, music and other form of fine arts to make life beautiful.
Mrs. Vani us head of the Dept, Mrs. Tara Kumari graced the occasion with their presence. Ms. Gouthami welcomed and introduced the guest. Ms. Prema proposed the vote of thanks.
