An extension activity was organized by department of Economics to the District Statistics office on July 20,2019.
The District statistical officer Dr.Uday shetty briefed about the functions of the Department to the students.He briefed, the main function of the department is collecting the data related to cultivated land, irrigated land, barren land, agricultural crop etc. the data related to Population census and other related data comes under the department. Dr.Prashanth, Head of the Department of Economics welcomed the chief guest, Mrs Savitha, Faculty Department of Economics, proposed vote of Thanks.
