Members of nature club visited vermicompost unit at Ramakrishna Mutt, Mangaladevi on July 27, 2019 at 2.15pm. Dr Sharath Chandra, Lecturer in Biosciences at Mangalore University and Alumini of Ramakrishna Mutt explained the process of vermicompost, its uses and application. He concluded that by vermicompositing biodegradable waste helps in making a value added product.33 students visited the vermicompost unit.
