The Commerce and Management Association organized one day inter-class fest with its theme ICON- Icons of 19, on Monday, July 29, 2019. This one day fest was organized exclusively for the first year students of all the disciplines. The fest, with the multitude of twists and turns had seven events viz., Quiz, Human Resource, Marketing, Finance, Public Relations, Entrepreneur and Best Manager. Total 9 teams registered which included teams from B Com, BBA& BCA.
Chief guest Sri M RanganathBhat, Hon. Secretary, CHS Association, inaugurated the fest and delivered a remarkable address to the participants. Principal In charge Dr. Premlatha V. presided over the programme and appreciated the organizers for their efforts and wished well to the participants.
The short inaugural programme then marked the start of various events. All the events functioned smoothly and were adjudged by our own esteemed faculty members.
After a daylong exercise it was then time for the valedictory ceremony in the evening and the participants too were more excited to know the results. Chief guest Prof. Ignatius Nevil Norohna, Former Head, Department of Commerce motivated the gathering through his inspirational message by quoting some exemplary instances to be successful in life. Students then shared their feedback. Student Convenors Ms. Krithika and Ms. Latchiya Priya announced the winners of various events and they were honoured with trophies and certificates. The participants too received their participation certificates.
