A presentation on “Online Shopping: Pros and Cons” was conducted by Mr. Abhishek Shenoy, a III B.Com student of Canara Evening College on July 31, 2019.He informed the students about the concept of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the internet using a web browser. He explained the different models of E-Commerce and how E-Commerce has used the social media as a platform to promote its products and services. He also made students aware about the various merits and demerits of online shopping.36 students of the college witnessed this programme.
