Fine Arts association of our college had organized Anaavarana 2K19 : Tap the Potential, on August 3, 2019 at T. V. Raman Pai Hall. The programme began with inaugural session and the Chief Guest of the function was Shri.LN. Kadri Navaneeth Shetty, AGM, Times of India, Mangaluru Division. Shri. M. Ranganath Bhat, Hon. Secretary, CHS Association presided over the function. The Chief Guest Shri. Navaneeth Shetty addressed the students and said that every individual has inborn talents and our quest is to unearth and hone them. Shri. M. Ranganath Bhat, Hon. Secretary of CHS Association, in his presidential remarks stated that the name Anaavarana is very apt which indicates tapping one’s potential. In addition to it he stated that students should be exposed to Fine Arts other than their regular curriculum. The Principal- in- charge, Dr. Premalatha said that people should involve in Fine Arts to relax and de-stress themselves. Our alumni, Keerthan Holla, winner of Sa re ga ma pa, Season 15, Zee Kannada was felicitated for his achievement. The programme was witnessed by all the students of our college. Mrs. Sandhya B. HOD, Chemistry, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Bhuvana Ramachandran, Convenor, Fine Arts Association, gave an introduction to “Anaavarana 2K19: Tap the Potential”. The Fine Arts Secretary, Miss. Rishika of Final year B Com, proposed the vote of thanks. Smt. Thara Kumari, Dept of Kannada, introduced the guest to the gathering. Miss. Vaishnavi Shet of II BCom C compered the programme. 840 students were present and 19 teams took part in the event.
