The Centre for Advanced Studies in Commerce and Management organized a guest lecture on “Interview skill development.” Mrs. Deeksha Sanjay Shetty, research scholar, NITK Surathkal was the resource person who explained the stages of interview such as screening, HR Round, group discussions ,panel interviews etc. She gave insights into how to prepare oneself for an interview. She gave checklist of Do’s and Don’ts of answers of various questions asked during a personal interview. She emphasized the fact that discussion on salary should be avoided as it creates a bad impression. She also cautioned students about dressing style and stressed the importance of dress code and advised students to dress as per the requirements of the company.
