A seminar on Copyrights affecting business of movie industry was held on August 29, 2019 by Dr. Gagan, Assistant Professor, SDM Law College Mangaluru, to the students of first and second BBA. The resource person educated the students on the basic concept of Intellectual property rights as well as highlighted the meaning of Copyrights, its importance and uses, also discussed certain case studies relating to copyrights in movie industry. The resource person also gave real life examples of copyrights and its benefits. 30 students participated in this programme.
