A Talk on “Promise in Rovers and Rangers” was held on September 4, 2019 in Room No.15 at 3.15pm. Mrs.Dhanyashree, Ranger Leader conducted this talk. Altogether six students participated.
Since the publication of book-“Scouting for Boys” in 1908, all scouts and guides around the world have taken a Scout promise or oath to live up to ideals of the movement and subscribed to a Scout Law. The promise is as follows: “On my honour, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.”
Mrs.Dhanyashree explained the above mentioned basics of promise. She also read out the promise. In the concluding part, students were given time to read out the promise repeatedly.
