The Student Welfare Council organized Samaroha 2K19, a combination of three events, Teachers Day, Onam Festival & Mosaru Kudike,on September 5, 2019 at 3. PM in the college quadrangle.
Teachers Day was celebrated by offering a floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher, philosopher, and former President of India and by honoring all the teachers. Each teacher was presented a flower and memento as a token of love and gratitude. This was followed by Onam Celebrations where students performed the Onam Dance around the Pookalam.
MosaruKudike was also celebrated on account of Sri Krishna Janmashtami. Dr. K V Malini, Principal & Student Welfare Mentors, Mrs. Vani U S, Mrs. Prathima V Baliga and Dr. Prashanth symbolically hit a pot to mark the beginning of the celebration.Students actively participated in breaking ‘DahiHandis’ by forming human pyramids.
Dr. K. V. Malini, Principal addressed and congratulated students on the occasion for organizing the event in a much disciplined manner. Ms. Bindiya S. Shet, President, Student Welfare Council welcomed & thanked the dignitaries and the gathering. Mr. Sanjan, III B.Com compered the program.
Altogether 900 students and all the staff members took part in this programme.
