On September 11, 2019, Management Association organised a talk on ‘Mutual Funds and Systematic Investment Plan’ for BBA students. It was conducted by Mr.Raghavendra Shenoy, Branch Manager who enlightened around 70 students. The aim of the workshop was to give a brief exposure to the students about various investment avenues and financial products and services. The resource person also educated the students on inputs such as various slabs available for investing in SIP, tax benefits etc.
The topics discussed were mutual funds, De-mat accounts, regulatory authorities in finance and investor’s interest and protection. The workshop was quite wholesome, detailed and rendered exact information that was required by the students at undergraduate level. The students were actively involved in the discussion and the whole session was very interactive. 48 students participated in this sesssion.
