A “Tulu folk song” competition conducted for Tulu Sangha students on September 18, 2019 at 3.15 P.M in Room no.27. Tulu folk songs depict the culture and tradition of Tulunadu. These songs have touched each and every part of contemporary human life dealing with psychology, philosophy and even anatomy. The themes mainly revolve around socio economic condition, day to day happenings and love and family ties. Lovely tunes and meaningful lyrics make these folk songs eternal assets. The competition aimed at highlighting the important of Tulu folk songs to the members of association. 38 students actively participated in this competition.
