IT and Cyber Crime are one of the contents of Commercial law Syllabus. To give the particular idea as to how to make the best usage of the internet facilities and to make them aware of the developed technology an expert from the same field was called to give a detailed informative talk on IT and cyber-crime on October 3, 2019. The resource person was K Naveenchandra Shetty,BSc,MIT,CISA , a Certified Information Systems auditor and a consultant-ISAudit.
He explained what cyber-crimes are and what the intrusion prevention systems are and how to employ SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) Systems. He narrated about cloud protecting system in the organisation. The talk about Cyber-Crime and Security for about two hours was very informative and the contents were presented through PPT. It was an interactive session. 90 students were the beneficiaries of the programme.
