In order to tap the potential of the students and showcase their hidden talents and exhibit their skills “Aavishkar 2020 – A Variety and Music Competition was organized by the Fine arts Association of our college from January 11 to 17,2020. Under the variety competitions Classical Solo, Folk Dance, Film Dance, Mime and Skit were conducted. 9 participants for classical solo and 05 teams in each category took part in all these competitions with great enthusiasm and vigour. Mrs. Swapna Shetty, Choreographer, Falcon Dance Academy, Mr. Shailesh Baikampady an artist and Mrs. Sushma, Choreographer were the eminent judges. Under the Music competition, Classical Solo, Bhavagethe, Instrumental, Western Solo, Eastern Solo, Eastern Duet, Eastern Group were conducted. Eminent judges like Mrs. Asha Nayak, Mr. Shubham Kulal, Mrs. Swathi Nayak and Ms. Keerthi judged the events. The overall Championship Trophy was shared by II B.sc and II B.Com D and Runners up trophy by III B.Com D. 840 students were present and 31 teams took part in variety competition and 79 students participated in the music competition.
