‘Art For Peace’ National Art Competition was organised by VEEER Foundation in collaboration with Canara College to promote peaceful environment with the minds of young generations on January 20, 2020 in College Library. Four best artists were selected to participate in the competition. All the four paintings were selected for the National Level Art Exhibition to be held on January 30, 2020 at Chennai. The competition was judged by Mrs. Sharmila Rohan Shiri and Mrs. Vijetha. Among the four participants the first prize was bagged by Miss. Sahana of III B.Com C and second prize by Vaishno Prasad of III BBA. The organisers of the VEEER Foundation rewarded the winners with prizes and certificates and also invited them to participate in the National Art Exhibition to be held at Chennai by sponsoring their travel and accommodation expenses.
