Nature club conducted NATURE FEST for its members with a tagline of “Get Activated with Thoughts of Nature”. In order to carry out this fest, the members of nature club are divided into 6 teams namely, Aqua, Thathura, Flora, Brainiacs, Eco Warriors and Humming Birds with a total of 6 people in each team. It had a total of 3 rounds.
This fest began on December 18, 2019 with a first round which had 2 sub rounds in it namely, “reveal the unrevealed and bio dumb imitate”. In the first round each team has to solve the riddles given to them within the time limit of 2 minutes and the riddles was related to biology and elements of earth.in the second sub round a person from each team had to pick a lot which had a common name of animal or plant in it and had to act whereas the rest members of the team had to guess its scientific name within the given time of 2 minutes.
This fest was continued till January 01, 2020 with the second-round “Bio puzzle”. In this round each team had to guess the bird by joining the sequence of pictures displayed on the screen ant that bird was related to nature.
The last round of the fest took place on January 22, 2020 which had two sub rounds in it. “First round was Mind Tickling Alphabets” in which each team had to pick a lot which had alphabets in it and then the same team had to say the names for birds, trees, flowers, insects or vegetables beginning with the same letter within a time limit of 2 minutes. Second sub round was “Get dumbed” in which each person of the team had to pick a lot which had the names of vegetables, fruits or bio related statement or process and the same person had to act whereas the rest members of the same team had to guess within the time limit of 1 minute.
In every round mentioned above there was a punishment section for those teams which failed to perform the task given. After the completion of the third round the winners were declared as team Flora, where each person of the team was awarded with hamper of stationary items and was given by Nature Club Staff Convener, Mrs Sushama c and Mrs Nishvitha Shetty. 40 members of the nature club actively participated in the activity.
