Youth Day was celebrated on January 24, 2020 by offering flower petals to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda by the Student Welfare Council and Library & Information Centre.
Mrs. Vani U S, Student Welfare Mentor, inaugurated the Book Exhibition at college Library. She also said “Students should inculcate the habit of reading books as a hobby as it increases their knowledge”. Dr. K V Malini, Principal, in her presidential address stressed the Role of Youth in Building the Nation.
Books on Swami Vivekananda were displayed in the library. Mrs. Rekhadevi, Librarian, welcomed the guests and the gathering. Mrs, Adithi Nayak, Member of Library Committee, proposed the Vote of Thanks. Mrs. Shruthi, compered the programme.
Altogether 36 students and 8 staff members took part in this programme.
