Two days practical training was provided to the members of Consumer Forum Association by D.K. District Consumer Information Centre, Mangaluru on February 5 & 6, 2020. The session was introduced by Sri. M.J. Salian, President D.K. District Consumer Information Centre, Mangaluru and continued by Sri. Vishnu P. Nayak, Secretary D.K. District Consumer Information Centre, Mangaluru. The second session was taken up by Ms. Samantha who spoke on the topic E- commerce. It was continued by Dr. Ashalatha P. who addressed the students on human rights. In the Afternoon session students were taken to Zilla Panchayat and Lokayuktha Office.
Second day, the morning session was on provisions of Consumer Protection Act. The resource person for the session was Sri. M.J. Salian, president D.K.District Consumer Information Centre, Mangaluru followed by Sri. Edwin D’Mello who threw light on online payment of electricity bill and other related issues. In the afternoon session students were taken to DC Office and Food Safety Office. 19 members participated in this training.
