Collage making is a very interesting branch of art in which the poster is made by pasting the discarded pieces of papers/magazines with the help of gum on paper.
To draw out the immense creativity of the students a Collage Making Competition on the theme “Current trends in Science and technology” was organized for the students of science association on February 26, 2020, from 3.10 P.M. – 4.10P.M in room number 35. Huge participation was received from the students for the collage making competition. Around 8 teams participated in the competition (Min 2 & Max 4 members in 1 team). The aim was to explore the students’ creativity. A great enthusiasm was seen in the students during the event. They used a variety of material to create the collages and gave a presentation on the relevant theme after making it. The effort of the students was remarkable and the most creative collages were adjudged the winner. The students made aesthetic collages which showed their immense creativity and imagination. The students thoroughly enjoyed the whole session. They took keen interest in collage making 40 students participated in this activity.
The event was organized by Ms.Mayuri and Ms.Nishma, Student convenors under the guidance of Mrs.Sukhalatha and Ms.Madhushree, faculty convenor of Science association. The competition was judged by Mrs.Sushama. C (Faculty – Department of Zoology) & Mrs.Nishvithashetty (Faculty – Department of Zoology).At the end, the gathering was addressed by Mrs.Sukhalatha (faculty convenor) stimulating the spark of creativity and the efforts of all the participants were appreciated and all the winners were awarded with prizes.
