Keeping in mind the above objectives, a two day in-house workshop on “NAAC Criterion-wise preparation for Developing Self-Study Report (SSR)”was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on March 17 and 18, 2020 in the College Seminar Hall. IQAC Coordinator Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan facilitated the workshop as Resource Person.
Principal Dr. K. V. Malini in her opening address said – “As we gear-up to prepare ourselves for the upcoming cycle of NAAC Reaccreditation process, this workshop shall strive to throw light on our preparedness for the same. Further, I hope that the deliberations will certainly make all the members abreast of the revised accreditation framework of NAAC and shall draw a roadmap in collecting relevant inputs for each criterion; thereby will enable us to effectively prepare the Self-Study Report (SSR).
IQAC Coordinator Dr. Premalatha V., gave an account of our status of preparation for the upcoming A & A process and expressed her concern towards the need for timely gearing-up for the same.
Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan facilitating the session updated the members about major revisions made in the Revised Accreditation Framework. The members were also familiarized with the processes involved in the A&A viz., procedure pertaining to IIQA, pre-qualifier, online submission of Self-Study Report (SSR), Data Validation and Verification (DVV) Process, initiation of Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS), compliance to DVV clarifications, on-site Peer Team Visit (PTV).Further, during two-day long deliberations, each of the seven criterions was discussed at length taking into consideration the Quantitative (QnM) and Qualitative Metrics (QlM).Each of the metric across all the Key Indicators (KIs) were discussed with appropriate supporting documents to be uploaded. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Essential Metrics and Opt-out Metrics were also discussed.
On the whole, the two day deliberations enabled the members to seek more clarity on the processes and procedures involved in the NAAC A & A. Criterion-wise discussion and interaction facilitated the members to become more self-reliant and thereby work effectively in developing the Self-Study Report. All the Criterion Heads and members participated and benefitted from the informative session.
The session strived to achieve the core value of inculcating quest for excellence amongst the participating staff members. NAAC Steering Coordinator Mrs.Dejamma A., proposed the vote of thanks.
