Learning has been a crucial part as the future remains uncertain so it becomes indispensable to learn constantly and procure knowledge. Capitalizing with a meaningful and productive activity during the prevalent times of lockdown caused due to COVID-19, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College hosted Quiz Marathon – A National Level General Knowledge Online on May 23 and 24, 2020 through Quizizz App.
The online Quiz Qualifiers round was held on May 23, 2020 at 4:00 PM. 83 participants from across the India took part in qualifiers out of which 30 participants were qualified and the rest were given another chance to contest in a redemption round later that evening at 7:00 PM, out of which 10 participants were qualified to compete in Quiz Grand Finale.
The Finale of Quiz Marathon was hosted on May 24, 2020 at 4:00 PM. 40 qualified participants participated out of which 3 came out victorious in the following order –

Ms. Bindya Shet, III B. Com. smoothly coordinated the event. Mr. Vaishno Prasad N., III BBA shouldered with all the technical aspects of the event. Mr. Neil J. Goradia and Mr. Shrihari of I. B. Com. took the responsibility of creating and hosting the quiz. The Coordinators of IQAC directed the team for successful conduction of the event.
The event was listed for registrations on Dare to compete – online student competition platform which enabled to reach over students on a National Level. The quiz received 11,461 views for the span of 7 days after which registration had been closed i.e., 22nd morning 11:00 AM. 538 registered out of which 83 successfully registered by paying the prescribed registration fees.
The event strived to achieve the core values of contributing to national development, fostering global competency and eliciting quest for excellence amongst the participants.
