Ranganathan’s Day was celebrated at Canara College Library on August 12, 2020 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr S R Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science. Dr. Premalatha V, Principal, Canara College, Mangaluru presided over the function and inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. IQAC coordinators Ms. Dejamma and Mr. Hardik Chauhan were present. Ms. Dejamma spoke on the significance of the day. Members of the library committee and library staff were present and paid tribute to Dr. S.R. Ranganathan.
