Workshop on Preparation of Business Plan

To trigger Entrepreneurship ideas among students, the RED Cell under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), organised a workshop on Preparation of Business Plan on November 18, 2020 from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Resource person Dr. Narayan Kayarkatte, Coordinator and RP, Karnataka State, said, “There are lots of opportunities for entrepreneurship development in rural areas and there is a necessity to educate rural people and get to know a good number of skills from them.”

He urged the students to participate in the National level Business Plan Competition and also shared the link to present their mock business plans. 52 students uploaded their business plans and the list of student participants was sent to the resource person.

Ms. Pushpalatha, Coordinator of the Cell, welcomed the guests, Ms. Usha Nayak proposed the vote of thanks. 83 students actively participated in this virtual workshop.

The workshop enabled the students to learn how to make use of rural resources for the development of the Economy and how to draw the business plans. The Students have expressed their satisfaction and opinions as to about the programme.
