As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav NSS units and YRC of our College organized a webinar on the title “Harvesting Rain Fall -Catch the Rain where it falls, when it falls” on August 14, 2021.
Dr. Vinayaka K. S., HOD, department of Botany, Shri Venkataramana Swamy College, Bantwal facilitated the session. In his session he briefed the importance of saving rain water and also discussed various techniques used for collecting, storing and reusing rain water. In this session students were able to identify the merits of rain water harvesting and implementation of various sources of rain water harvesting. Total 116 Volunteers were benefitted from this webinar.
