75th Independence Day was celebrated with great joy and zeal in our college on August 15, 2021 at 9:00 AM in the college quadrangle.
Dr. Premalatha V., Principal, unfurled the national flag and addressed the gathering. She said “This year marks the 75th anniversary of Independence from the British Raj and the pandemic should not spoil the festive spirits”. She also recalled how the national heroes provided us with an invaluable blueprint to not only liberate the nation from colonial rule, but also to rebuild it.
Student Welfare Mentor, Mrs.Vani U S, welcomed the gathering and Student Welfare Mentor, Mrs. Prathima V Baliga, proposed the vote of thanks. Altogether 30 staff members were present.
Participants recalled and paid tribute to those freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the country’s freedom. The program strived to achieve the core values, contributed to national development and inculcated a sense of value system, amongst the participants.
