Hindi Day was celebrated on September 24, 2021. On account of this, the Hindi Sangha and the Department of Hindi, Canara College organised the E-quiz on Hindi Literature. Around 50 students and 20 teaching staff had taken part in the program through the online platform. Mr. Ramakrishna K.S., Assistant Professor, Govt. First Grade College, presided over the programme. He highlighted the importance of Hindi language and also talked about the various job opportunities that are available under Central Government. Dr. Kalpana Prabhu, HOD, Hindi, and Mrs. Sujatha G. Nayak, Convenor of Hindi Association, organized the programme. Ms Deeksha V. Kini was the Master of Ceremony. Ms. Niveditha Pai, President of Hindi Sangha, and Ms. Swathi Kamath, Secretary of Hindi Sangha, were the part of prayer. Mrs. Sujatha G. Nayak, Convenor of Hindi Association, welcomed the guest.
